Our Tool

As a communications and learning tool, story offers tremendous benefits and flexibility. Stories are easy to harvest, analyze, share, understand and remember. They also create a positive environment for change; everyone feels comfortable and safe with stories.

When used as an organizing framework, story is surprisingly scalable, effective for everything from corporate cultural change to lunchtime learning.

Our Focus

Communications and change management practices cover broad spectrums of activities that include branding, marketing, leadership, and systems development.

We focus our services on supporting learning and engagement - because research and experience show that these are essential for change to happen.

In particular, we create story-based experiences that engage stake-holders and help them build knowledge outside the classroom - since that's where 80% of adult learning occurs.

This means that we work across organizational boundaries, supporting projects in communications, training, public relations, human resources, research and corporate services.

Our Approach

We frame our work with an appreciative approach, rooted in
Appreciative Inquiry (AI). This means that our strategies focus achieving desired goals (what you actually want) rather than solving existing problems (what you don't want). AI is a proven and participatory approach for change management, originally developed at the Case Weatherhead School of Management.

We tell stories, fictional and factual, which we craft explicitly to support change, through media like email, newsletters, videos and web-sites.
